This policy explains the stages of a booking request and delivery of information for services arranged through Flight Owings. Flight assistance and travel documents are handled electronically; a submitted search or request is not itself proof that a ticket has been issued.
The itinerary, payment authorization, supplier confirmation, and applicable ticket or travel document should all be reviewed. Keep the information supplied for your reservation and contact us if its status is unclear.
1. From inquiry to a booking request
A search or conversation helps identify potential options using the trip information you provide. Before a purchase proceeds, review the selected flights, passenger details, fare conditions, complete total, and any separately disclosed service fee.
An inquiry does not reserve a seat indefinitely. A booking request is processed against availability and the information authorized at the time. If details change, the revised option must be reviewed rather than being accepted on your behalf without authorization.
2. Reservation reference versus issued ticket
A reservation reference identifies a booking record. It can exist while a request is pending and should not be treated as proof that ticket issuance is complete. Likewise, a payment page or a confirmation of information received is not necessarily an airline e-ticket.
For an itinerary requiring a ticket, check the relevant ticket number and ticketing status in the documents supplied. Where a provider uses a ticketless confirmation, review that provider's applicable travel document and confirmed status. If there is doubt, ask us to verify the status before making further arrangements.
3. Electronic documents and receipts
Use an email address and phone number you can access. Booking-related documents may include an itinerary, reservation reference, ticket information, receipt, and applicable conditions. Review the delivery method and expected next step when arranging the booking.
Check all passenger names, flight dates and times, airports, connections, cabin details, and charges. An airline confirmation should identify the relevant travel provider; a separate agency receipt can identify assistance charges. Keep both where the charges are collected separately.
4. Pending verification or unavailable inventory
A pending status should not be resolved by automatically collecting a higher amount. Ask what remains outstanding, whether anything has been charged, and whether you need to authorize an alternative. A failed request or unresolved delivery issue must be reviewed separately from any service already performed.
- Payment information or billing verification may need review before issuance.
- Incomplete passenger details or a name mismatch may require correction.
- A fare, seat, or requested cabin can become unavailable before the request is completed.
- A provider may need to confirm a special request or another element separately.
- Technical or communication problems can delay a status update even when part of the request has been processed.
5. If confirmation is missing or incorrect
Avoid repeatedly submitting payment while the first transaction is unclear. If departure is near, make the time sensitivity clear and follow the operating airline's instructions for travel readiness.
- Check the email address supplied and your spam or junk folder.
- Review any account or booking record available to you, without treating an unissued reservation reference as an e-ticket.
- Contact us with the booking reference, passenger name, and the expected itinerary or amount.
- Ask whether payment was authorized or collected, whether the ticket was issued, and which document or correction is still outstanding.
6. Changes after documents are issued
Airline schedules and operational details can change after ticketing. Monitor the contact channels supplied for your booking and check the carrier's current flight information before travel. A revised itinerary or an exchange can also create new documents; keep the most recent confirmed version.
For corrections or change requests, use the applicable ticket process rather than editing a saved or printed itinerary yourself. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how to ask for assistance and how to confirm that an action has actually been taken.
7. Fulfillment of optional and assistance services
A ticket and an optional service do not always confirm at the same time. Ask for provider confirmation of a paid seat, baggage purchase, or other requested extra. A request for assistance or a preference recorded on a booking is not an unconditional guarantee that the carrier can provide it.
Any fee for our separate assistance must have a defined purpose and terms disclosed before payment. If a paid service cannot be supplied, ask for an explanation and an assessment of the appropriate refund or other remedy. A description of supplier processing does not remove a mandatory delivery or refund obligation.
