Fare Disclosure

Last updated:

This disclosure explains how to assess a fare shown on flightowings.com or quoted by Flight Owings. Review it with the specific itinerary and the complete amount presented for authorization. A price should be understood together with its travel dates, passenger details, cabin, and restrictions.

Prices and availability can change before ticket issuance. An estimate, illustrative route price, or unconfirmed search result is not a promise that the same itinerary can be purchased at that amount. A revised total requires your approval before a purchase is authorized.

1. Read the price and its scope

Check whether the stated amount is per traveler or for the whole party, whether it covers one-way or round-trip travel, and which flights are included. Infant, child, and adult pricing can differ, and a mixed-passenger total should not be inferred from a single adult fare.

The currency identified for the quotation or booking controls the amount being reviewed. A USD label means U.S. dollars; do not assume that a different supplier currency has been converted. If your payment provider converts currency or adds a foreign-transaction charge, its terms apply separately from the quoted travel price.

2. Required price components

Before authorizing payment, review the full payable amount for the selected itinerary. The breakdown should distinguish the airline ticket price, applicable taxes and mandatory carrier charges, any separately identified agency service fee, and the optional extras you chose.

A required cost must not be presented as an optional extra to make a fare appear lower. If a component is unclear, ask who is collecting it, what service it covers, and whether it is included in the total presented for approval. A generic policy is not a substitute for an actual transaction-specific breakdown.

3. Fees for independent agency assistance

A Flight Owings service fee, when applicable, is charged for our assistance rather than for operating the flight. It must be identified separately from airline penalties and disclosed with its purpose and amount before authorization.

Ask for any separate change, cancellation, or other service fee and the conditions governing its refund before agreeing to that service. These pages do not establish a universal fixed fee, a new fee for every inquiry, or automatic permission to charge a card again.

4. Baggage, seats, and other optional costs

Review the total trip cost rather than comparing starting fares alone. Where an optional service was paid for but not supplied, any refund entitlement needs to be assessed under the relevant service conditions and applicable law.

  • Carry-on and checked baggage allowances depend on the airline, route, and fare. An allowance on one flight does not necessarily apply to every flight in a connecting itinerary.
  • Preferred seats, extra-legroom seating, priority boarding, meals, upgrades, and similar options may have separate charges and availability conditions.
  • An assistance request or an add-on selection is not the same as provider confirmation that the service will be supplied.
  • If a separate insurance or other third-party product is offered, review the actual provider, price, coverage or service terms, and applicable cancellation rights before purchase.

5. Conditions that can affect the value of a fare

Tickets in the same cabin can carry different conditions. Review the fare's change and cancellation rules, baggage, seat selection, routing, stopovers, passenger eligibility, and any no-show restrictions. Some options require an additional payment even where a change penalty is not charged.

For separate tickets, check whether a missed connection affects the other booking and whether baggage needs to be collected and checked again. A shorter advertised journey or lower starting price may carry practical costs that matter to your decision.

6. Advertised examples and itinerary quotations

The route-deal section uses illustrative one-way USD price examples, identified by its accompanying notice. Those figures are not live inventory quotes. Contact our team or run a flight search to review current options for the dates and passengers you need.

Any available promotion needs clear eligibility and material restrictions, such as routes, dates, cabin, quantity, or required conditions. An advertised comparison or saving needs a genuine comparison basis. We do not promise a universal discount, lowest fare, or availability simply because a destination appears on this website.

7. Repricing, ticket issuance, and errors

If availability or pricing changes before ticket issuance, review the revised itinerary and total before proceeding. A pending booking or authorization should not be treated as approval of a higher price. Where the selected option cannot be fulfilled, ask about the status of any payment and the available next steps.

If you believe a price or description is incorrect, contact us before buying. A suspected error should be reviewed and any correction explained; it does not authorize an undisclosed substitution or remove a remedy available under applicable law.

8. Keep the agreed information

Retain the quote, receipt, fare rules, and ticket information for the purchase you authorize. They provide the basis for understanding the travel product and investigating a later difference in price or service.

Airlines and suppliers control their own inventory and fare conditions. Our independent role does not allow us to change those conditions unilaterally, and a provider's rule does not remove a mandatory consumer protection.
